There are always issues regarding how to become a responsible parent. first of all the question is what does it take to be a responsible parent to your child. Whoever the children grows up of who they are was it all because of how the parent raise them or was it the environment they live in? In my opinion its the influence of the two but the biggest factor in developing a child's personality will always start at home.

Being a parent is not an easy task too, though they have to think what would the future of their child be rather than how they will be. I've seen parents who are very irresponsible in their home or in their neighborhood, and the consequences are vaguely huge, whether the child would grow to be a delinquent, a bully, a criminal, or rifle happy bastard. children who grew with parents especially the father who was so arrogant about his status in society or how powerful he is would greatly influence, as we can see in society that those children not only inherits that arrogance but also overwhelmed what their parent was, and some of these delinquents rots of society either carries a gun or trade guns as often as they like. Irresponsible parenting are also the reasons why there are lots of youngsters are now behind bars.

It is time that our society to take notice of this, to educate the family, and hopefully bring order to our society. Lets face whatever trouble the society has experienced or witnessed, were not just caused by people who have no morals or no sense of being a responsible citizen, but we have to also think how they grew up as such. Were they raised by their parents properly? Where they influenced by the people around them? or They just developed such very bad behavior with themselves. I don't Believe that everything happens by chances, they happen for reasons, and if we see our children getting out of the way of the good… lets ask ourselves did we do enough? Do we really understand them? Was it my that my child grew up to be irresponsible? There are many questions to ask and answer but there will always be one answer to all our society's problem regarding the children… "Children or People Grows Up in their HOME".

Has there ever been a definitive guide written on parenting? Something set in stone parents can turn to for answers to solve the most vexing parenting problems.

I guess the difficulty with a bible like parenting source is that there are so many different styles of parenting that it would be impossible to satisfy every style. For starters, authoritative parenting is said to encourage adolescents to learn to become independent. But how would this sit with a couple following the values of christian parenting? Giving a child a degree of free reign such as a little verbal give and take probably wouldn't sit too well with the strong christian parenting tradition.

Then we could throw family parenting into the mix, or baby parenting. In recent times, co parenting has been added to the list and it is something that makes a whole lot of sense. Basically, co parenting is about putting the child's best interests first when two parents are going through divorce. You've often heard it said; it's the child or children who suffer the most during divorce. With co parenting, parents are encouraged to stop the one upmanship on each other and make the separation process as smooth as humanly possible. The child is never put in the middle of two waring factions and his/her relationship with either parent is encouraged. You can appreciate though that this is not easily achieved because of the nature of divorce and the fine line between love and hate but in the instances where co parenting has been successfully applied, those children are said to have suffered very few traumatic experiences.

I was brought up with what I now term as a successful mix of different parenting values. Looking back, the application of some of the principles of bothauthoritative parenting and christian parenting for mine, worked wonders.Thank goodness I never had to experience the co parenting factor as a child. Although as an adult, it was a different situation. But that is another story.

So maybe a little mix'n'match of the different parenting values could be something we should explore. Combining good discipline practice with a little independece encouragement.

As far as baby parenting is concerned I well remember my early experience as a father. Despite all the preparation before my son was born and all the wonderful advice from well meaning friends and relatives, in the end, I can safely say it was a role I eventually grew into. There was no step-by-step instruction manual I had to follow. It was almost a case of "the child maketh the parent." Think about that for a moment.

What is Active Parenting?

Parenting takes a lot of energy, and this is why the matter of active parenting is so truly crucial. Active parenting involves helping your children to learn survival and life skills, and although there are many skills that are involved in the raising of family, there are several factors in particular that are especially important, which are: courage, self-esteem, responsibility, and cooperation.

Courage is an incredibly important virtue to teach upon your children as if children have courage they will feel as though they are able to try and even if they fail they will feel capable and willing to try again. As well, it is important to know that courage is an incredibly strong base for children, and is a virtue and component that all children should have.

Another important matter of active parenting is that of the teaching of self-esteem. Responsibility is also incredibly important, as in active parenting, parents are leaders who encourage that of cooperation and stimulation of learning. It is important that all family members are able to make decisions and accept responsibility for their actions and decisions, and parents will not be able to be there for everything their child does, and so it is vitally important that the children have learned to make responsible decisions and thus have the courage to stick with those decisions.

Cooperation is another incredibly important virtue, as children who can cooperate with others will learn that life involves teamwork. Active parents are able to help their children to learn to have courage, be responsible, be cooperative, as well as to have them feel good about themselves overall. The matter of parenting revolves around the fact of protecting and preparing children to be able to survive and thrive in society, to feel good about themselves and their decisions, and to have them act with confidence in their daily life.

Regardless of how you go about being an active parent, the most important factor to remember is that at least you are doing something. There are so many options available in this matter in fact that it can be hard to choose which one to go with. The Internet, for example, offers a wide array of active parenting classes and courses that you can attend, some of which are even available to you at no cost, and the convenience of completing these courses online is incredibly beneficial to most.
